Resin bonded fixed dental prosthesis-missing lateral incisor

Anodontia is a common condition that one or several permanent teeth are missing. Genetic factors are responsible for that. In this case, the upper right incisor was missing.

Our first thought was the placement of an implant, but due to the severe inclination of the lateral roots, it was impossible unless we had an orthodontic treatment.
The patient was not into that kind of treatment and after a discussion that we had, we concluded to another type of restoration.

Resin bonded ceramic restoration is a very esthetic solution that respects the dental tissue as it is minimally invasive. It’s bonded on the adjacent tooth/teeth on the palatal surface.
